Network eAcademy - Orchestration, Automation and Virtualisation (OAV)
Introduction
Welcome to the open GÉANT project wiki area for the Network eAcademy, currently including information on orchestration, automation and virtualisation (OAV).
This area is used for knowledge sharing and exchange between GÉANT, NRENs, and organisations interested in applying OAV principles to their network operations. It is also intended to serve as a platform to discuss strategies, common use cases and ideas related to network and service orchestration, automation and virtualisation in our GÉANT community and beyond.
More material is added on a continuous basis.

OAV Maturity Model
Use our Orchestration, Automation and Virtualisation (OAV) Maturity Model to position yourself on your OAV journey
Our model defines four main dimensions that describe different aspects of OAV, each further specified using subdimensions that highlight the important OAV areas of each dimension. The level of OAV adoption and management is described using six maturity stages starting from no OAV adoption to cutting-edge OAV implementations. The short and long descriptions of stages for each subdimensions help quickly identify the current status in the organisation and the main tasks that need to be accomplished in order to advance to the next level.
