Session Aim
This meeting build on the first two MPiViT sessions and aims to enhance your skills and knowledge in order to strengthen the communication and project management within your teams, leading to greater levels of efficiency, effectiveness and motivation. It also aims to build even stronger relationship across the community and encourage a coaching culture and the sharing of best practice in relation to managing people, running effective team meetings, managing performance, coaching and motivation.
The emphasis is on motivation and coaching to drive performance.
Delivery
The Session 3 will be delivered as face to face Workshop in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The workshop is highly interactive, with input, group discussions and practical exercises delivered using accelerated learning techniques.

Pre Evening Arrival
Please arrive at a time to suit your travel plans and eat at your leisure. We meet in the morning at 9.00am.
Day 1 09.00 – 17.30 CEST
Pre-dinner Drinks in the Hotel Bar at 19.00 followed by Dinner in the Hotel at 19.30
Dinner is an important part of the team building and networking purpose of this workshop.
Day 2 09.00 – 15.30 CEST
Please book transfers and transport to enable you to leave only after 15.30 so that we are all able to be there for the close and au-revoirs.

Preparation
Please, ensure that your team are aware of your attendance at this event and you have delegated a person to act as your deputy. Note that use of laptops is restricted to breaks and lunchtime to enable you to focus on the workshop.
Also think about individuals in your teams who are maybe not as motivated as they could be in your view and those whom you think might benefit from some coaching. Your reflections will be useful for when we come to the practical exercises.
Funding for Workshop/ Session 3
Please note: As long as you are an official GEANT Project Partner, NA1 T7 (Training) will cover your travel and accommodation expenses to attend this face to face event. These costs should be claimed through the normal channels in the monthly cost claims, marked as 'NA1T7MPIVIT' if possible. We cannot cover the manpower (hours) to attend the event, so you should get the agreement of your Activity Leader for this element. The cost indications below are the approximate amounts we have budgeted per person for this, so if you feel you will have an issue with that please contact us.
