Note, Independent Direct services are managed entirely by the user NREN and do not require an SRF (although usage does need to be recorded to ensure that aggregate pricing is properly provided by supplies). |

Open Exchange Cross Connect | A cross-connect between 2 existing GÉANT Open Members | A cross-connect between 2 existing GÉANT Open Members, where at least one party is not a GÉANT member NREN - if both parties are GÉANT members then it is a GÉANT Plus unless they specifically request it is recorded as a GEANT Open Cross Connect. |
FoD | Firewall On Demand | A request to join (or modify or leave) the FoD service. Not to be used for a request for a rule to be applied (which is managed by OC and does not need an SRF). FoD is a security service. |
