TF-CSIRT: Impact
- Since its inception in 200, TF-CSIRT has built a trusted network of incident response professionals - improving the quality of incident response knowledge exchange and reactiveness across Europe. Through its TRANSITs training, TF-CSIRT has trained over 1000 people from the incident response community directly via GÉANT supported courses as well as making the materials available globally to support training courses run by partner organisations. TF-CSIRT has also gone on to support over 400 Incident Response Team
TF-RED: Impact
- TF-RED has been able to provide a forum where best practices have been shared across the global R&E community.
SIG-Marcomms: Impact
- Since its inception in October 2003, SIG-Marcomms (then ‘TF-PR’) has created a global community of trusted marcomms professionals, improving the quality of NREN marketing communications activities through shared knowledge and experience, hands-on training and interactive meetings. The group originated the community newsletter that is now integrated in connect.geant.org, ‘jump-started’ community social media use, helped to develop promotional materials and approaches for various services, and proposed and participated in the community workshop series on crisis management and communications now known as ‘CLAW’.
