Agenda / Proceedings
--------------------------
1) Welcome, agenda bashing
2) WPA3 experience, anyone?
Noone except Stefan still.
3) Wi-Fi Integer generations
Gen 4: n
Gen 5: ac
Gen 6: ax
4) CAT 2.0 launched
- experience, war stories?
* GRNET (war story): cat_api.js worked almost flawlessly (with API v2 translation previously baked in), minus a couple of stupid bugs :)
- APIs changed (user and admin); external users pointing to installers etc. need to use new URLs. Also some JSON parameters changed (id -> idp; id -> profile etc.)
5) eduroam Managed IdP launch prep status
- probably launching with PHP 7.2 from start; pull CAT 2.0 onto 7.2 afterwards if all goes well
- pilot users "naturally" fade out (intermediate CA expires in Dec -> new credentials then on new system)
- installers: geteduroam is considering writing an installer from scratch, with detached eap-config files. There is a new alternative, the CarrierProvisioning XML schema (Stefan to send link to the list). This is used at least in Hotspot 2.0 context to push enterprise credentials directly to Windows (with some JS glue).
6) AOB, next VC
on the question of geteduroam and their own certificates: it should be possible to get a sample Managed IdP installer, cut and paste their own cert data, and re-sign it with their own code signing certificate.
