    Discussion of the state of openroaming and the touchpoints with eduroam.org

    • Paul D, Stefan W in Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) and can access content in the extranet and papers etc
    • Discussion on DNSSEC requirement – desired but not required and not verified at this time
    • CUI needed so gateways inject the CUI to comply with the WBA story.
      • CUI support is spotty at best: Cisco ISE cannot support (need DNSSpaces), NPS has no support, Aruba can read, but not generate

  • deployed to two very early canaries
  • fully operational, if you want to join the canary fleet please make yourself known
  • more wide announcement after implementing one particularly important feature request:
  • Hotspot usage statistics https://github.com/GEANT/CAT/issues/235
  • and maybe also improve helpdesk requirement UI https://github.com/GEANT/CAT/issues/236
  • ability to remove hotspots from an org in web UI
