Activity overview
A comprehensive and easy to understand service dashboard for Trust and Identity Services.
Current service dashboards within and beyond the community have a simplified view of whether services “work”:

- https://status.box.com/
This activity does not see to replace existing monitoring operated by service owners. It recognizes such mionitoring is typically fine grained and detaild as is required to accutly report internal operational issues. Rather than the traditional Nagios/Sensu dashboards that show a range of components that contribute to a service.
The goal of this task will be to identify a range of component monitoring:
- Nagios
- Sensu
- Zabbix
- Other to be determined
That are used throughout the community and aggregate this monitoring into a unified view, such as:
- https://demo.cachethq.io/
- https://www.statuscake.com/
- (only an example and not definitive)
The choice of monitoring and aggregation tools are left as an exercise to the reader.
