The purpose of the workshop
On behalf of GÉANT and the educational expert group, we would like to invite you to join us to discuss further the challenges and opportunities NRENs are facing regarding educational technologies. The workshop is the follow up from the 1st NREN educational technologies worksop from TNC19 (https://tnc19.geant.org/events/#s115), in which joint procurement for LMS, Digital Learning Environment, eduID - MyAcademicID, learning analytics, open educational resources was discussed.
In the 2nd workshop we will continue discussing future strategies on how the NREN community can support educational institutions with innovative technologies. With specialised topics, chosen during the pre-workshop (October, 7th, 2019) we would like to discuss possibilities for future collaborations, challenges and good practices. The final session of the workshop will set the stage for founding of the new Task force (TF) on education within GEANT Community programme.
