- Feedbacks:
- The place to go, if you'd like to talk to all the "big names" (they will be flown in and paid for, thus explaining the high fee). Expect among high-level talks lots of sales pitches.
- If you're interested to be where real work is done and shaping the future is taking place go for DICE Europe or IIW
- European legistlation about Wallet
- https://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/en/press-room/20240223IPR18095/meps-back-plans-for-an-eu-wide-digital-wallet EP adopted text
- Feedbacks:
- the open-source requirements towards wallets might be a big entry barrier for GAFAM
- next version of ARF might come within a week's time and complement the picture
- we are somewhat worried by the strong element of "mandating trust" instead of "gaining trust" as the chosen approach (wallets, ARF, QWACs, etc.)
- We will share our findings and judgements at upcoming meetings
