GEANT and PRACE
GEANT and PRACE are the large infrastructure providers PRACE providing the TIER-0 supercomputing recourses to the European researchers based on their scientific excellence in peer review process. GEAN provides the European research institutions the data communication networks for their research and education needs. These organisations have MOU and GEANT has a position in PRACE Management board meetings.
GEANT-PRACE-CERN-SKAO
Scope for collaboration (i.e. what we can do together, setting project boundaries)
PRACE and GEANT have started collaboration in Summer 2019 in common interest based on staff and customer training and e-learning collaboration.
The scope of collaboration covers topics from developing best practises exchange, benchmarking and learning e-learning platform possibilities to collaboration. Possible staff collaboration on course development and dissemination.
Target audience(s)
PRACE partner staff members, researchers using PRACE& GEANT infrastructures and have scientific or educational need for online training materials , GEANT member organisation staff members.
