Report for TTC Members
Following on from the concept definition work previously presented to the TTC, the Greenhouse project has now entered an initiation planning stage. A high level plan for this stage has been prepared. As part of this stage, the PDOs have developed a Product Needs Assessment and asked various projects to complete this to get a better understanding of the scope of service that would be requested.
Licia and Nicole had an interesting initial discussion with Ian Dolphin from Apereo on the approach and the issues associated with the project. At this very early stage, Apereo expressed an interest in tracking the project and its direction. Apereo also outlined their increasing portfolio in Europe, including significant developments in France and work with the UK.
The Greenhouse concept was also presented at a recent meeting with Internet2 who have also expressed interest in follow-up discussions.
